I’m a bit confused with the routing options on the looper. For example if I set it to Out4 it correctly records only stuff that is sent to Out4. But if I play it back (without playing myself) the output level at Out4 goes crazy. Without the looper it’s -10 and if I playback it’s all red an the limiter doing another -10. This doesn’t happen if I use Output3/4 instead, then the levels during playback and recording look equal. I would expect the same for a mono recording.
Another thing I was wondering is if it would make sense to have separate IN and OUT routing for the Looper. What I’d like to achieve is to have separate Left and Right tracks and being able to record/overdub on both separately. So for instance do a recording where I have a guitar sound on the left and a bass sound on the right. Then play that back, but be also able to re-record either on the left OR the right channel. I guess in the end that’s just working around the issue that i can’t have two looper instances, but would be nice if this could be done. Or is there any clever routing that I could use to achieve this?
