“Load Only on Confirm” Preset Navigation

It would be great to have an option to browse presets using the Preset Up/Down footswitches without instantly loading them.

Suggestion:

  • Preset Up/Down scrolls through presets (preview only).

  • A separate footswitch (e.g. TAP or other configurable switch) confirms and actually loads the selected preset.

Benefits:

  • Prevents unwanted sound changes while scrolling.

  • Makes live preset changes safer and more predictable.

  • Gives users flexibility to prepare the next preset in advance.

This could be a global setting (enabled/disabled) so users can choose the workflow they prefer.

Agreed. I’ve had a couple disasters at gigs when I’ve accidentally changed the preset by hitting the up/down button accidentally and didn’t realize it lol.

Oh yeah! This would be SUPER helpful. I don’t know how many times I’ve been using my expression pedal for a section, and then need to go quickly change an effect on/off right after that section and I’ve accidentally hit the preset button and changed patches entirely. It would be great to have a confirm like you mention, or have a “lock” preset option that requires you to hold the preset button to engage it or something. Anything would be great compared to how it is now.
