There are guides to find on YT, I have tried running a plugin on Linux mint dualbooting, which worked BUT there’s was a problem on the GUI side, if I moved a knob it took 2minutes to show it, the sound changed immediatly as intended but the GUI was very very lacky, I could live without the plugins on Linux (because I only have PCOM supported plugins) but not Cortex Control, I use it 99% of the time because my QC is sitting on my desk and it’s way easier to control the unit via the Control app also for local backups which I found a must have for me; I really want to switch to Linux and ditch Windows but Cortex Control is the only thing holding me back (I’m also using Reaper)…

Linux drivers and Cortex Control support

Linux is reaching nearly 4.5% market share, which is a substantial amount of people. The platform is growing steadily and it would a smart move for Neural to be early in having full support. And there’s tons of people that want to switch to linux but haven’t yet for one reason or another. (Linux revolution will happen eventually ) I’ve not yet managed to get the QC working as an interface on linux. Using a VM running Ubuntu Studio. Only a glitchy mess, pure noise in fact. Neural, pl…
