Just put my QC on a board!

so I now have the QC on a board with Morningstar mc-8 and a few pedals.
power on is ok I understand everything goes on, how about turning pedalboard off.
i have a main switch for everything power to board.
Is it ok to just cut power or do I have to use the soft switch first on QC, since it is basically a computer.

I’ve been powering off the QC with the power bottom and then cutting power to the board. I feel like that’s the best way but not sure how damaging it is the other way

I asked the NDSP support this question a while ago. Cutting the power is fine, no need for using the power button to do that.
