You’re right, of course! I was referring to factory presets having a cab block, not captures. Thanks for the clarification!
I’m using QC, and I was confused about the sound at first. But by setting the input gain and impedance correctly, and using a good cab block, it improved a lot. I also tried some of the community presets and got good results. If you want, I can give you better suggestions if you share your setup.
I had the same issue with a thin, metallic tone. Resetting input/output levels to 0 dB, setting input impedance to 1 MΩ, and using a proper cab block with mic settings really helped. Also, check if a noise gate or global EQ is affecting your tone. That fixed it for me.
