My soud engineer want me to record my guitar and send him two tracks in stereo and the dry signal in mono.
I don’t use my QC as audio interface, I use a Xair18 and Repaer for my DAW.
How can I route my QC to send a mono dry signal into my Xair18 ?
I understain that I send OUT1 et OUT2 in stereo to my Xair (that’s what I usually do) and send the OUTPUT 3 to a another input to my XAIR18, but how to obtain only the dry signal in the OUTPUT 3 of the QC ?
I only see a swith dry-wet in the usb port of te QC ?

Hi Fabrice,
You’ll need to just use a lane with nothing on it, just input 1 → output 3.
However, I’d suggest using the direct USB from the QC to make sure the signal is the best possible.
The DI is on USB output 1 (input 1 on the DAW).
Just use an FX Loop Plugin (Send 1 or 2) as the first plugin in the chain and use the corresponding Send Jacks on the back of your QC.

Did what you propose whith the single lane input1 —> output 3. I finally used my quad cortex as an audio interface via usb and set the dry signal in the output 3 in the I/O settings. Work’s perfecttly ! I was able to send what my engineer requested . Thank you for you answer…
