I’ve just seen that the newly announced Headrush Core has the ability to load backing tracks to the unit via either the USB socket (from a USB memory stick) or even via Wifi (it can access your backing tracks - and presumably loops) via servers like Dropbox.
I’ve posted a number of times about how the Quad Cortex looper could become a vastly more useful tool if a firmware allowed us to save loops (which Headrush devices have been able to do for a long time) but being able to download limitless backing tracks/loops, especially via Wifi, is next level stuff.
I know some of you like the idea of being able to save loops on the QC, as you have voted for that idea, but even better would be the ability to load them ‘on the fly’ using the QC footswitches (which the Headrush can’t do) But also being able to store tracks/loops on a memory stick or cloud and then access them straight on to the QC would be a game changer.
Any takers?
