Hi, I wanna put a EQ pedal(mono), a delay(stereo) and reverb(stereo) in the fx loop from QC. And I wanna record the guitar with stereo delay and reverb
If without the EQ pedal, it will be so much easier, I just need to connect the stereo input and output with delay and reverb pedal. But now with the EQ pedal, can I still record the guitar with stereo delay and reverb? So EQ pedal’s input goes to fx loop send 1, then EQ pedal’s out goes to the delay’s input, then there will be stereo out from the delay pedal to the reverb’s stereo inputs, the reverb’s stereo outputs go to the QC’s fx loop return 1 & 2.
Plz let me know, thank you
I see no practical reason why you’d need an external EQ pedal in this instance. Use an EQ pedal block in the QC itself before the FX loop. Of all the things you’d need a separate and special external pedal for, EQ is probably at the very bottom of the list.
What’s your rationale for needing that pedal?
Otherwise, yes, your suggested routing is probably fine, although you’ll lose any stereo effects before the FX loop comes into play.
Personally I think the EQ pedal sounds and feels different compare to the EQ block in the QC. I also clone the EQ pedal into the QC, but I still find it feels and sounds better with the actual pedal.
So you were saying I will lose any stereo effects before the fx loop, that means the delay and reverb are not totally stereo?
