Hey there! I seem to have encountered an issue with my Quad Cortex, and I’m wondering if it’s anything expected.
I noticed when trying to integrate my BigSky into an FX Loop 1/2 block that the Left output was much louder then the Right (this reflects in the output monitors on the QC as well). So I tried isolating the issue - I ran a cable directly from Send 1 to Return 1, and afterwards, ran it from Send 2 to Return 2. True enough, the output for the former was much louder than the latter (by something like 5 db). I also tried running the cable from Send 2 to Return 1 and compared it to Send 1 to Return 2, and still, the former was a lot louder. It seems like Return 1 in general yields higher output than Return 2.
Is this normal at all, or is it probably a defect?
