Freeze block modulation parameter

Hello. I would love to see the Freeze block include a modulation parameter. As it is, Freeze comes off as a little too sterile, or synthetic. A mod parameter would allow the sample some life, a little depth, and for those who don’t want it, leave the control at 0%; a flexible solution. As an aside, I keep the TC Electronic Infinite Sample Sustainer on my board for this very reason. IMO, that sample has more of a keyboard pad-feel than the flat, sterile tone of the EHX-type sample.

In my efforts to work with Freeze, I applied a chorus block after the Freeze but that of course affects the entire signal, which may be undesired. And I cannot isolate a modulation to only the Freeze sample–a simple modulation parameter in the Freeze block solves this. Thanks. I hope this gets some votes and added to the backlog.

there are ways to isolate the Freeze lane so you can keep playing separate from it. It takes an entire row, but it can be done.

Here’s a preset that isolates the Freeze drone lane after you capture what you want (you’ll need an XP to control the mix):

I guess you could assign the mix of the splits to Scenes, but it would require more tap-dancing than by using the XP. Would also leave fewer choices for Scenes.
