I have four QC units in red, grey, black and white. They are awesome! I haven’t used them all yet but I keep one racked for live shows and one in my studio. I pulled the white one out of the box a couple days ago to mount on a pedalboard and logged into my account and noticed my plugins were locked. I have my plugins on two QC’s and on my studio computer. I am thinking that I can’t have more than three activations is why it’s not working on my white QC. If that’s the case, that kinda sucks. Anyone know if the activations also apply to QC?
Hmm. Haven’t run into that. I have two QCs and plugins on my laptop.
I would email support at support@neuraldsp.com
and see if they can help you out. I can’t see why they wouldn’t want to help out a QC super user like you!
The QCs don’t use iLok activations, but in the manual it says the following:
As a security measure, a plugin license can be activated on up to three devices simultaneously. If this limit is reached, plugin device blocks will appear locked in the Virtual Device List and will be bypassed on the fourth device linked to the same account.
I’m not sure if there is a way to choose which three QCs get activated. It’s probably just the order in which they get linked to your account.
