Hi Neural DSP Team,
I’d like to submit a feature request for the Nano Cortex that would greatly improve live performance usability. Currently, the Nano only allows four presets (IA, IB, IIA, IIB) to be accessed via footswitches at any given time. While this is fine for short sets or practice, it becomes limiting for live performance, especially for players who need multiple tones within a single song.
While there is a dedicated Bank Button on the device it does precisely the wrong thing, as it changes the banks from the captures,- but not the actual foot switch assignments!
Request:

Multi-Bank Loading: Ability to cycle through banks of presets directly from the footswitches (e.g., holding a footswitch or using a combination to go to Bank II, III, or pressing the dedicated Bank button on the device.. etc.), not just the 4 active presets.

One-Button 4-Preset Load: Ability to assign a single footswitch to instantly load a set of four presets into the active footswitch slots. This would allow players to load all tones for a specific song without manually reassigning presets.
Even though it might take one or 2 seconds, I understand it’s not going to be seamless due to the stuff being loaded but it certainly is better than messing around with your phone or tablet for 20 seconds to get everything in order for the next song.
Why it matters:

Reduces downtime between songs during live performance.

Allows players to fully exploit the Nano Cortex’s tonal versatility without relying on a tablet or computer mid-set.

Makes the unit more intuitive for gigging musicians who need quick, reliable access to multiple sounds.
I believe this would make the Nano Cortex much more powerful for stage use while keeping the current workflow intact for practice and recording scenarios.
