Delay - Decay, number of repeats & volume

I’ve had the QC for some time now, and i’m not getting exactly what i want from the delay possibilities.

I’d like to be able to very specifically dial in, let’s say, 3 repeats, and have them be repeated at the same volume as the input signal. Or perhaps being able to control the way in which they decay (i.e. linear, logarithmic etc.) and how fast it does so, so that i could have 3 repeats all at half volume, or start at full and decay down to half before stopping (or even rising in intensity). There’s definitely some functionality missing here!

Love the device, but i find it hard to leave all of my other pedals behind because of some missing features.

the Circular Delay is the only one that can do a specific number of repeats (up to 6 under the ‘Tap Preset’ parameter)

As for controlling the decay volumes, pretty much that can only be achieved by XP in real time. A compressor can vary it a little, but is better as a ‘glue’ situation that actual volume control. Presently, the Circular DLA on a parallel row is probably your best bet. At 100% mix you can control the repeats separately from your main signal path/‘dry’ tone for more versatility.

It’s also pretty much the only way to create ‘splitter/chopping/micro-loop’-type fx too.
