That’s what I came up with too, only I used a split; non cab signal w’ effects out to 3&4 (with a split to path 2), path 2 feeds path 3&4, then a cab panned left on out path 3 out to 1&2, and another cab on path 4 panned right also out to 1&2. Def see how the send could make it a bit cleaner but still a lot of real estate getting used up.
Cabs passing a stereo signal would totally do the trick, that’s how it works on Helix.
ahh I actually didn’t know that - that’s kind of silly. So it’s impossible to use stereo FX before a cab block? Seems a bit of an oversight

I see a total mess coming when cab bypass is set in I/O but behaves differently, based on the individual preset. This kind of “output mode” setting works on specific modelers like BOSS GT series, NUX MG30, Fractal etc. where cab simulation is handled in a dedicated cab block. In this case it’s easy to disable the cab block on a system wide level and still have consistent behavior.
In the case of QC it would be neither trivial nor consistent, I guess.
