"Crushing prog metal tones" email on combing Fortin and Plini

Did anyone else receive this email? The email body says, '…how to blend two of our most popular plugins – Archetype: Plini X and the Fortin Nameless Suite X ', but it doesn’t go into detail on how you’re supposed to do this.

I’m using Cubase. I add a new Audio Track, and add Plini X and Petrucci (I don’t have Fortin Nameless) separately into the Insert. I disable all of the Plini X sections except for the first section (Pre Effects) that contains the Octaver pedal. It doesn’t sound great. Getting lots of extra noise.

How are you guys using different NDSP plugins in the same audio track?

That’s a good question. I know you can combine on the QC - is it possible that’s what they mean? Plini, Fortin, Gojura and Soldano are the only suites available on QC but you can mix and match pedals cabs and amps.

I did find this email but it doesn’t offer any usable info.
