Hello guys,
today morning I saw the new Cortex Control Version 4.0.0 on the download page. I installed it and all works fine but now during the start of my Cortex Control on my MAC ..
Cortex Control Version 1.4.1 does not support CorOS Version 4.0.0 ..
Then next message is “It appears that your CorOS version needs an updated Cortex Control installer .. and I shall download it .. but on the download page I can only find the installer for 4.0.0 which is already installed ..
Now I am stuck …
Any idea ?
Christian
Yeah, I had the issue too, the link made me reinstall CoCo 1.4.1.
Download it from this page and you should get 4.0.0: Cortex Control - Neural DSP
This solved it for me, everything works fine now.
Hello, first thanks but no success .. same behavior and error message
if im following correctly, you’ve installed CorOS 4.0 but still need to install Cortex Control 4.0, the version numbers now match.
I got the same error after updating, then I also updated cortex control and everything is back to normal.
maybe I am stupid .. but I can only find one installation file .. 4.0.0 on the download page .. which works fine .. but I cannot open the cortex control program because it asked me to upgrade cortex how I can update cortex control because of old version .. no idea with which installation file ..
it makes the impression you see two installation files on the download page .. but for MAC I can see only one … and this is already installed
let me just double check the steps you took.
did you update the quad cortex before cortex control? or go straight to Cortex Control 4.0 without updating the QC unit?
I downloaded the 4.0.0. and installed it on my Mac .. afterwards the update of the QC was performed which all works fine .. QC is coming up and I can play but I cannot get connection from my Cortex Control to the QC because of this mismatch of versions
at this point I would uninstall cortex Control, reinstall the current version and try connecting again, I had to fully close down cortex control, have you tried restarting the machine?
it works now .. I uninstalled the old Cortex Control, restarted my MAC and installed it from scratch .. now it works.
Many many thanks for this hint .. really appreciate it
