thanks for clarifying… It’s not the issue that I described, but sucks that something that used to work is now broken in the update
Just saw the Neural video talking about 3.2…… is there no note displayed when using the live tuner? In the clip they showed it only looks like a bar that displays whether the note is sharp or flat….. Can anyone confirm this if they’ve updated already? Hesitant to update in case there are bugs.
I’m hoping the live tuner actually displays the note being played, otherwise it’s a kind of pointless feature….
there’s no Note name, just a bar that turns green when you’re in tune
did you try deleting the blocks, and then re-adding them to see if it clears the glitch.
I’ll see if I can duplicate this
I just want to say, thank you to the neural Team. I can’t imagine, how frustrating it must have been to postpone the updates, but here we are and even with 3.2.
I’ll update now and will check out everything new.
I did the test that said adding a new block, but the same error still occurs
What a strange choice for them. Honestly feel like anyone who would have tested the Beta seriously would have brought this up immediately…..
I appreciate them updating the QC, but kinda another half baked attempt. Pretty sure the live tuner even in the plugin (or Cortex Control?) functions better. Assumed they were just porting that basic thing at least
If you are curious to read the new manual. It hasn’t been updated / linked on the website until now, but the PDF is already online: https://downloads.neuraldsp.com/file/quad-cortex/Quad%20Cortex%20User%20Manual%20v3.2.0.pdf
CorOS3.2.0 is not a big update for users who don’t have those plugins, but for me who has been awaiting Nolly on QC, really satisfied.
Also I hope “no sound or big buzzing noise boot issue” has been solved by CorOS3.2.0…
I only use hybrid mode and I have not come across any issues like you describe.
If you assign a foot switch to a block, let’s say ‘a’, you must also assign (right mouse click in the on/off button → assign) the blocks on/off switch to scenes (all scenes) and thus the QC remembers which block was on/off in each scene. I use that all the time and you can some nifty stuff with that making your QC pretty versatile. For example, if I stomp on an overdrive in one scene I also activate an EQ to change some frequencies, but not in other scenes.
yeah, when hybrid mode first came out, Neural did not allow you to set the “scene bypass state behavior”. They fixed this a while back. nkoala had a different issue (using momentary switches)…
After 9 months, zero amp, pedal and effect for non-plugins owners. Really?
I really hoped that Neuraldsp would keep their promises of adding new amps, effects, etc.. free for everyone and plugin would be an ‘added bonus for Plugins owners’.
This 3.2 update clearly shows it is not the case.
I do not see any reason to spend hundreds of Euro on plugin for a unit that I’ve already spent 1600 euro on.

any changes to time to boot up since last update?
What about making global cab ir switching to the outs(!) I want?! Please do it! No more swichers in rows per preset! Easily define it in the output settings! Fractal, line6, kemper… they all can do it!!!
Where to download the Cortex Control 1.3.0? I can’t find it.
Nano cortex can do this as of OS2.1 as well - global IR bypass on one or both outputs
salt in the wound but showing maybe just a minor update away since the UI elements are already in the app.
Yes. Mine now takes 5 seconds longer to boot up
It’s even longer than the previous update? I feel like Luke Skywalker when he learns Vader is his father I’m sitting here reading your post going “No! No, that’s not true! That’s impossible!” while crying. Well… At least I still have my picking arm attached.
EDIT: Im just joking. I hope this isnt really the case. Like I timed mine at 1 minute 17 seconds but I sold it. I was hoping they would have reversed that. I am in between buying a new QC with the new codec or a different device. Im just waiting to see what happens in the next few months in both camps. Because I dont even know boot times on this other unit. Could be worse. IDK. Im getting by with my old processor after some tweaking. But i would like to get back into something a little less base model Toyota and more top trim Lexus.
I clocked 1 minute 16 seconds on mine. No change here.
