I’ve recently bought a QC and using it in 4 cable method. I’m predominantly using it in Scenes mode and would like to connect it to my RJM Mini Amp Gizmo in order for me to control my tube amp’s features (Fryette Pittbull Ultralead). What I would want to be able to do is assign different channel settings as MIDI commands and change amp channel or switch boost on/off when changing scenes. I’ve tried doing this, but to no avail. This has prompted me to try and control other devices via MIDI, connecting the QC’s MIDI OUT to the other devices’ MIDI IN (namely a Digitech Whammy V). In order to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong I also checked with a different MIDI controller and everything worked fine. So it all points to me doing something wrong with the MIDI settings of the Quad Cortex. I made sure the MIDI channel is the same (MIDI channel 1) and MIDI OUT/THRU is enabled. I also entered the MIDI Preset out menu and tried assigning different program changes to different footswitches/scenes but unfortunately nothing comes of it. Any idea what I’m doing wrong or what I should do next?
