@KaiqueUnderline You can get a lot out of the Plini plugin, and chime is rather subjective but we can all pretty well agree that it occupies the upper mids/treble frequencies. With this in mind and in consideration of using the Crunch amp with the master @ 10, I don’t personally see how that would achieve a “chime-y” sound knowing what that amp in the plugin sounds like. And without knowing other parameters yo’u’re using such as the cab selected, FX used, amp settings themselves, mic positioning, etcetera… it’s really tough to give you recommendations. You’ll likely get better feedback by saying “I love the sound of preset x, so is it possible to achieve a similar sound using the y that I already have?” Some people have luck with abusing the equalizer to their advantage for an array of sounds, and you may even find some benefit by disengaging the guitar cabinet to give a dry sound with definitive “snap” — Polyphia has certainly made use of the latter.
Bearing in mind that both the AC30 and DC30 are Brit-voiced EL84 combos, there is not a perfect match for those amps that exist in Plini: the clean is a custom thing, whereas the crunch/lead amps are based on Friedman BE/HBE foundations respectively IIRC. But I can say that with patience and tweaking, you can coax almost any sound out of that plugin, it’s truly fantastic in its breadth and scope.
To offer something constructive (and I’m assuming you have a QC because of how your inquiry was worded), there are factory presets for a Matchless DC30. Search the Quad Cortex device list on the website to see the offerings Neural offers. Lastly, don’t forget that Cortex Cloud is a resource for tone chasing, too. If you want a specific amp or sound, a pointed search inquiry will yield many users’ contributions. I did one myself on your behalf, and you might have luck with a preset that user robbiemuzick uploaded called “AC29 Clean.” Through the overdrive of choice in front of this and you could be cooking’.
