Change Scenes via MIDI

Hi,
So - supposing I already have my Preset selected on my QC (like 2B or 4C)… and this preset is Scene mode.
NOW… I want to change Scenes via MIDI. I took this list of MIDI messages from the manual to “recall” - which I take to mean select - a Scene. Is that what this means?

So again… IF I already have my preset selected, and I send a MIDI CC #43 on channel 1, with a value of say 3, then I ‘think’ I am selecting (or recalling) Scene D. Is that right??

Hi Alex,

That looks correct. If you’re getting into using midi with scenes and want to add extra stomps in without a tap dance, stacking midi messages can also be handy (e.g., Activate Stomp mode > Specific Footswitch Control > activate scene mode). I do this to add a boost or wah in for solos for instance to get more out of scene mode. Hope this is helpful!
