I am noticing that some other users’ presets I’ve downloaded are missing captures. One example is Euge Valovirta’s latest plexi preset. 3 captures are missing and when I press the download button, it says they are unavailable. What do I need to do?
he has used ‘private’ captures in that preset so there’s nothing you can do but try to find substitutes elsewhere. Not sure why he’d share that preset if the bulk of it is inaccessible (unless they are paid captures you can buy- I don’t know)
Euge has started marketing his own captures so that may be the issue. Also, if the capture has been deleted and or renamed etc., it will show the same error. Hypothetically, if you download and save a preset/capture on your QC/backed up etc., it will remain available to use to you until you delete from your QC.
This is one things that bother me the most, there are so much useless presets with missing captures or IR…
It would be nice to know if there will be someting missing before choosing it, then downloading it and finally trying it.
A preset preview a la “Kemper rig manager” (sort of merging the cortex cloud and cortex control) is a must have imo, so much more user friendly. (Especially when you have a preset with missing items, which is sadly quite common.
