Greetings.
Day one with my nano cortex, and I can’t find info on how I can save presets with different IRs (every preset I create ends up with the last IR I used). I would love to be able to hit the switch and have a new capture and the chosen IR for that capture rather than every capture having the same IR.
I have dialed in a preset with the IR I want and saved it. Then did the same with another preset but with a different IR. Saved that as well. But when I recall the first preset, the last IR used is now global.
What am I missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I could be wrong, but could it be that you are attempting to save it into one of the amp slots, where your amp captures are stored ? The one with the 5 pages of 5 amp heads. I dunno what the word I’m looking for it
IR’s are not global, you have to select an IR to be used. Once you have tweaked your preset as you like (e.g. amp, fx and IR), it can then be then saved to any of the available user slots.
I have loaded my 5 favorite IRs and actually don’t use the app much and just control my presets and IRs from the Nano itself mostly.
Presets should save to whichever of the 5 IR slots you have selected when you hit save.
But you have to assign the IR you want to that slot and can’t change the IR in that particular slot.
This is not really how it works. A preset contains data about the IR file that was used when it was saved and the settings of the IR block. When you load a preset the IR slot is recalled exactly as it was saved.
This means that you can have individual IR files for each of the 25 presets in the Nano Cortex. You only need to make sure you have the IR files used in your presets still in the Nano to avoid broken presets. (300 IR files can be stored I think.)
My guess, you are experiencing a bug relating to the name of the custom preset you are saving that ends up updating two or more presets.
