I’m considering picking up a Source Audio Nemesis to use in the loop along with my Ventris. Before I do, does anyone feel the QC will do everything a Nemesis can do?
I don’t think it could do everything the Nemesis does. Has some similar settings, but that pedal definitely has different algorithms than the QC
I own a Nemesis. One of my favorite overall delays by far. Much more character than a timeline to my ears. Anyway… I think there are things that you can do with the QC that you can’t do with the nemesis. And things you can do with the nemesis and not the QC. The times where I’ve had to use the QC at a gig without extra pedals, I’ve always been able to program something that sounded great and didn’t make me regret not taking the nemesis along. But there is some magic in that Nemesis that can’t be replicated.
I don’t think my response helps ya make a decision, but it’s my perspective on it.
I went ahead and ordered a Nemesis to compliment my Ventris, I’ll experiment putting both through the loop on the QC, and use the best of what both have to offer.
