New user here. Love the QC so far. I use input 1 for guitar and input 2 for our two mics (we’re a duo), with the use of a xlr y-cable. It works, but I would really like to have the two mics on inputs 1 and 2.
If so , I would need to connect my acoustic piezo guitar to one of the Returns. Any thoughts on that? I don’t know a lot about levels, impedance, HiZ and all that stuff, so any assstance is much appreciated!
Yes you can, I always have my return 1 set with the gain set for my acoustic so when I use the QC with my duo it’s always ready, and it works perfectly fine.
You could even use return 2 for your electric and then you have both mic inputs free for your mics.
Yes, I did an A/B-test today and coul not notice any difference between connedting guitar to input 1 or return 1. It really makes the QC the ultimate solution for a compact duo rig.
