Hello! To preface: I am requesting this feature because I want to be able to take my BOSS DD-6 off of my pedalboard. Until this feature exists on the quad cortex, I can’t.
The DD-6 has a “hold” mode, where I can hold the one button on the pedal to create a small loop. You then simply press the button again to end the loop. You can use this creatively by clicking it on very quickly and getting an extremely short, glitchy sounding effect.
Having a similar functionality in gig view (perhaps a loop block setting) would be amazing as a simple solution that would allow me to take that pedal off my board!
That’s fair! I saw that post; the only caveat I have is that my request is also specifically requesting to have a one-press device (as opposed to having to go into loop mode) so that I can use it in a live setting with my other footswitches remaining useful (I don’t need the whole loop mode)
