Black friday deal confusion?

Hi everyone, is it only me that’s confused with the black friday deals. The deal where its buy a nano and get a free plugin, can the nano even have plugins on it? I understand if its a selling point to get more people buying, but I feel like its a complete waste of time if you don’t have a quad and the plugin isn’t compatible or you dont use a pc. I feel like they have offered a deal to the wrong users. I have seen they have 9 videos waiting to showcase, but going off history its all probably a waste of time like soon and sooner or probably here’s a update of an amp we already had plus a free reverb. I honestly do think and I said this when they announced the nano, they said we wouldn’t be pushed back with the quad updates but its slowed down massively. They also apologised on 11th july for being terrible at communicating, but still haven’t mentioned anything positive since except the update on 20th august. I know how difficult it is making products amazing, but I honestly think if this useless 9 videos doesn’t show something amazing then I think its a bad downward slope for them. Sorry if I sound angry :joy: :joy: :joy:

NDSP is a software company first, hardware company second. A free plug-in is a pretty standard incentive for purchasing something from them. They don’t know which users have a computer/DAW and which don’t. “Nano users don’t use the plug-ins ever” is inaccurate.

I think they mention a disclaimer with the discount details that the Nano won’t run the Plugins, but that it can be used as the interface to your computer to run the plugins there. So it can be used in the process, just not directly on the Nano itself w/out a computer.

Their marketing campaigns always make some users mad, so this one’s no different. It’s just how they do it.
