They always do a 50% “birthday/anniversary” sale in April or May, and Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale in November. Like clockwork.
They usually exclude the most recent plug-in for these sales. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mantra and Archetype Misha Mansoor X are excluded from this year’s sale since they were both released almost back-to-back over the summer.
Time for me to finally pick up Rabea X.

I’m unlikely to need a mantra, since I’m not a vocalist. And an archetype like Misha Mansoor can be given away for free, not even at a discount.
Love the Rabea plugin. Can’t wait for it to be in the Cortex. My favourite amp, (the Kraken), with a killer fuzz pedal.
The Kraken (Squid) in the QC is modeled off of Rabea’s personal amp. He’s mentioned it in his videos. So really you have the amp already. It’s the one he uses in the QC as well

There are plenty of amps, and it’s easy to tweak the sound of any amp with the QuadCortex base. That’s not the point. If you’re just looking at amps, the Nollies and Fortins are much more interesting. For me, the Rabea archetype is valuable for its synthesizer. Rabea’s synthesizer is simply the bomb!!!

I’m looking forward to pairing it with the minivoicer to get some full-on keyboard chords I can drive with my feet. A poor man’s Taurus pedals. lol
