CorOS Version: 3.2.1
Describe your issue:
When in tap tempo mode and I press the corresponding footswitch assigned to a stomp, Gojira octave, assigned to F, the sound drops in volume and becomes hi-fi/harsh. Similar to playing an amp sim without an IR, but not quite as bad.
This patch is on a high gain amp with an IR, XLR’s out to studio monitors.
Steps to reproduce your issue:
- Engage tap tempo
- Push the corresponding footswitch for the octave pedal while on the tap tempo screen
- Disengaging the stomp does not resolve the sound issue. I have to change presets to ‘reset’ the sound.
I expected this to happen:
When I do turn on the octave pedal it should engage like normal, or not activate at all. I don’t believe it’s meant to be activated on this screen because the footswitch is green for a tap tempo twist knob (F). So the ability to alter stomps should be hard blocked to avoid accidental sound issues. I stumbled on this issue but it could be problematic someone in a live performance.
I have tried the following things:
- I have tried this with momentary function, still occurs
- I have tried this with latching function, still occurs
- I have tried on different footswitch locations, A, B, C etc, still occurs
- Tried other effects, Nolly OD, Nolly reverb, same issue
- Tried non-plug-in based effects, and still occurs with stock QC effects
