So here is the scenario:
Imagine you have 20 patches, each for a different song and let’s say you are using 5 different guitars throughout the set.
The output volume of only 2 guitars is different on performance day. Now you’d have to go to each preset that uses these guitars and adjust for it (because changing the overall input gain would mess up the gain for guitars that were okay).
My idea/proposal:
Make users be able to save different instruments into a bank that can be tied to preset inputs.
You’d be able to save for example:
Instrument 1: Solar T1.7,
Instrument 2: Washburn Idol WI 50
Etc…
You’d have a special menu where you can adjust the gain level for each instrument, and then tie those to inputs on presets. So that when you change the gain for an instrument at the instrument menu it automatically updates it in all relevant presets.
