This forum is getting saturated with requests for assignable / secondary / momentary / etc. footswitch functions:
This seems like a duplicate of other requests similar to this. I also think that this feature should be implemented. Was a standard feature on the Helix from day one.

And it would be incredibile if it would be implemented with double tap or long tap option for each footswitch!
Voted! I’ve gotten used to ‘second press, return to previous preset’ on my setup.
QC arrives tomorrow and my brain is firing up like a Christmas tree!!
Working on a few songs that would benefit a heck by being able to momentarily stomp a footswitch for a quick scene change, but jump right back on release. For a very fast transition effect, saving a stomp back.

Assign any parameter changes to any footswitch in stomp mode
Add push and hold -function to stomp and scene modes. In stomp mode: Ability to assign everything to press-and-hold that one can assign to regular press-function. In scene …
…and so on. I would love to see some of these changes myself. But gosh there needs to be a unified effort to clarify to NDSP what it is users want if this is ever going to happen.
