That is, are the gain, treble, mid and bass controls impacting the input of the capture block or its output? This would make a big difference depending on how linear the capture block might be.
Perhaps there should be an option to choose?

they are post gain, but i agree they should be switchable to be pre-gain like kemper tone stack
