Archetype: Tom Morello - no touchscreen response on *some* buttons

  • Windows 10 and 11 (upgraded subsequently)
  • Tom Morello (standalone)
  • DELL P2424HT monitor

Touchscreen registers (shows glowing white circle) but does nothing when touching on the Settings and MIDI buttons on the bottom left of the plugin.

Note: clicking with the Microsoft USB mouse does work to open those features as expected.

I seem to recall that other buttons on that strip do work, as does the Preset dropdown.

I believe this is the case with other plugins as well, but I can’t verify off the top of my head right now.

I also tried rebooting, removing and reinstalling, but no workey.

Happy to try other systems/NDSP plugins and report my findings too; any suggestions of other things to try?

Also found 2 similar issues from 2021 (UI bug when using WIndows 10 touch screen) and 2022 (Archetype Petrucci and Touch Screen Problems)…so I’m pretty sure that it’s not just me.

Note: this is NOT a QC touch screen issue, but rather an issue with a PC or tablet running WIndows and a USB or built-in touchscreen and Standalone mode.

Any help or updates would be appreciated…
