Anyone here using the walrus audio canvas HP?

Need a replacement for this stock power supply. Anyone using one of these and does it resolve these buzzing, noise etc etc issues?

I don’t think the Walrus is going to have less noise than the stock power supply. Maybe you could explain your setup. If you’re getting excessive noise it may be from how your pedal chain, or guitar. Possibly from dirty power at your house or practice space. Not sure the Walrus one will help. Also the Walrus power supply has a pretty strange power cable itself that isn’t a standard IEC. Once I saw that, I stopped even considering that one as an option.

Most people use other power supplies with the QC because it’s easier than the flimsy cable the stock on has, size, and ease of having everything come from one IEC that also powers their other pedals.

Lots of threads in this forum about power supply options; run a search to see what others are using. Here’s my power solution:

I just got one and it’s working fantastic!

Using one myself - it’s a great little unit. I’ve got my QC on a rockboard board, with the canvas HP underneath and using Mod3 to pass the IEC power and all connections through (to minimise wear and tear plugging instruments and power in and out of the QC as I move from space to space)

At least here in the UK (I bought the ‘UK model’), the IEC that goes in to the Power Brick part of it isn’t unusual at all - it is the standard IEC C13/14 shape that you’d find on amps, PC PSUs etc. Not sure if this varies by region.

It’s just weird that it has its own power brick and not a standard IEC. It makes setup more annoying to have a whole other piece to attach, especially under a pedalboard.
