I’ve noticed that some of the new Apogee soundcards have this feature when plugged into a mac, so would be nice to have the same option on the QC when it’s being used as an interface
Wouldn’t this mean that the volume knob wouldn’t be always synchronised with the actual output volume anymore ? Because I am pretty sure that this knob isn’t motorised 
With cortex control it already goes out of sync anyway, so can’t really see it being a problem!
Oh does it? Cortex Control was too buggy for me, and I did not even try to move the volume 
Yup - it’s great being able to put my QC out of the way and just do everything from my Mac, but it would be a nice QOL feature to use the default volume controls.
