Allow a tone stack selection for amp capture

Have a set of stock Tone Stacks that match the characters of popular amps.
When setting up or after a capture, allow the user to select their desired tone stack.

For Preamp captures, it would even support amps that have some eq pre and some post preamp. For full amp captures, the eq could be pre preamp.

so if I capture a fender blackface, the selected tone stack would at least be in the ballpark of real amp expectation.

Or if I love the mesa tone stack, I could try it on any amp capture.

So Kemper just announced this feature as"liquid profiles" with 40 modeled tone stacks with eq, gain mapping. Apparently they have a related patent. Shocks me that this hasnt gotten more votes.

This won’t work the same in a neural network based capture. You need to know where to place the tone stack in a model to make it work like an actual amp. Kemper profiling is totally different. Maybe someone really smart will come up with something in the future and then it will be trivial to make practically perfect models of amps.

I understand tone stacks do work differently based on the circuit placement, but kemper and neural both generate the profiles by comparing input to final output through freq and volume ranges. kemper doesnt know anymore about what is actually between those two points than neural does.

The other snag is the way Neural creates their models. They model the whole amp at once, at multiple settings, not at a component level like Fractal and others. Cool suggestion though.

It should be possible. Fingers crossed.
