Achetype cuts out when laptop power cable is plugged in

Hello,

First time plugin user here

I use the standalone archetype tim henson to play through as my bedroom guitar amp. I have noticed that when I have my power cable plugged into my laptop I get frequent irregular cut outs for a few seconds, and then all works as normal for the next 10mins or so. This doesnt happen and works completely fine when my charger isnt plugged in.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Odd. I’d make sure your OS is completely up to date for starters. Modern computers use system resources to manage charging, so maybe you have some power setting that’s messing it up. I would contact support if you’ve tried everything and everything is up to date.
