I’m wondering why the Zuul in the QC doesn’t have the side chain like the utility gate does.
My guess is that it’s not a side gate in the plugin so it’s not for the QC. They didn’t make all the other gates available as side gating when they added the newer side gate version. Just my assumption.
Hi, what about the zuul vs the QC noise gates, is it different, better etc ? have you compared them ?
I like the Zuul a lot. It seems smoother and doesn’t have that chop off or noisy cutting in and out sound the others can have.
Maybe the zuul block gets it side chain input always from the input the preset / row uses and they did therefore not make it editable. But this choice makes no sense at all to me as the zuul is the one gate that brought the topic of side chained gates (without the need of using the “4 cable method”) to the table for most players.
That is super weird it doesn’t have a side chain. Having a side chain is literally the main selling point of the actual Zuul pedal. I was pretty confused why it doesn’t have that myself. Mainly bought nameless to have the Zuul on the QC.
I was trying it the other day and thought the same thing. What’s the point of the zuul in the plugin?
Product placement with the Fortin name apparently. Def a bummer it doesn’t have the side chain
