We need what Line 6 has provided:
User can assign a CC to any block to turn it on/off. Triggering on/off by simulating footswitches is silly - if we already have a footswitch, assigning that footswitch to MIDI is redundant. The MIDI assignments need to be associated with the block itself so that it can be triggered regardless of footswitch assignments in the QC. And we should be able to assign the same CC to multiple blocks.
User can assign a CC to any parameter on any block to control the value associated with that parameter. Ideally, the CC would not be grid-position dependent. In other words, we would assign the CC to (for example) a Lush Plate Reverb block, and moving it to a different place in the grid shouldn’t matter or break the assignment.
