Use an expression pedal to go between scenes (like morphing on Kemper)?

Hey everyone,

I recently switched from Kemper to QC and the only thing I’m missing is the Morph function from Kemper. I have two scenes setup in one of my presets: a rhythm sound and a lead sound (+3db). Is there a way to use an expression pedal to go between the two? It’s nice to have a gradual decrease in volume from lead to rhythm instead of a dead drop.

No and yes. I think.

No, i dont think you can morph between 2 scenes because AFAIK, you cannot assign scenes and expression to the same control. Which i find annoying.

Yes, you can do that without using scenes by assigning multiple controls to one expression pedal. E.g. it could increase gain on one block while reducing volume (for unity gain). I do this wtih an eq block, as the exp controls several eq sliders to morph between a teble booster and a minor treble cut/mid boost. While these are in the same block, you can assign an exp to any number or variables across multipel blocks.

If I can just adjust the settings of an EQ block on one scene, that’d be enough!

you can crossfade EQ settings for sure. You can assign pretty much ANY parameter (and lots of other things) to XP control.

What the QC can’t do is an automatic ramping between settings- you have to control the crossfade yourself via XP.
