Currently, when using the Nano Cortex as an audio interface with iPhone or iPad via USB/OTG, the output is limited to a dry/neutral signal. This makes sense for recording situations where a clean DI track is needed, but it becomes limiting when trying to record or livestream directly into apps such as the native Camera, Instagram, or TikTok.
It would be very useful if future updates included an option to select whether the USB audio output sends:
-
Dry signal (current behavior) – for re-amping or studio recording workflows.
-
Processed signal (with Neural Captures, IRs, and FX) – for direct use in video apps, social media content creation, and mobile streaming.
This would allow musicians to capture professional-quality tones straight into the iOS camera app without the need for external routing, additional interfaces, or post-processing.
Adding a simple toggle in the settings (Dry/Processed) would give users the flexibility to choose the best workflow for each situation.
Thanks for considering this feature for upcoming firmware updates – it would make the Nano Cortex even more versatile for modern content creators.
