Mute guitar output for monitoring

Hi All,

I am using a Nano Cortex (NC) connected to an IPad via USB. I already own Eventide Spring and Fabfilter Timeless Delay on IPad that would be great after NC. Loopy Pro will host these.

Is it possible to send the processed signal from NC into Loopy Pro on IPad, through FX and then back out through NC headphones?

I saw this option in the manual but not sure if this will work, or if it will only then pass dry signal to USB so I would need to have an amp sim on IPad as well.

Manage how audio is routed when using Nano Cortex as an audio interface via USB, preventing duplicate signals or feedback loops during reamping or DAW-based monitoring.

  • MUTE GUITAR INPUT: Mutes the analog INPUT to the signal chain, preventing direct monitoring through Nano Cortex. USB INPUT 1 remains active. This is useful when reamping through USB OUTPUT 3.

  • MUTE GUITAR OUTPUT: Mutes the analog audio sent from the signal chain to OUTPUTS 1L/2R. USB audio playback from your DAW still passes through. Ideal for monitoring processed audio exclusively via your DAW.

Yes - this worked using MUTE GUITAR OUTPUT

I could not notice any additional latency from the plugin FX.

This works well to supplement the effects on Nano Cortex
