Toggling FX blocks on Nano?

I’m looking at the Nano, but I have what I hope is an easy question.

How do you toggle FX on/off within a preset? Do you just create 1 preset with the FX off, and another preset with the FX on?

If you have a separate midi footswitch, you can toggle them on and off with CC messages.

Without a midi controller, you have to just have saved separate presets with the FXs in on or off states.
