Stop integration of plugins

Please stop the further integration of your PlugIns into the QC. The enormous manpower you are wasting on this would be much better spent on usability improvements and other features and would benefit all QC users, not only some plug in owners.

I would guess that if you look at how many people have both a QC and one of the missing plug-ins and, above all, want to use them really on the QC, the number will be surprisingly low. So a lot of effort is currently being made just to redeem a 5-year-old claim, which in the end is only of use to a small fraction of your entire customer base.

Free up the resource, because the competition isn’t sleeping. Headrush can do seamless switching, Helix has command center and will soon get Showcase, Nam captures better which you can get on your board in quite passable form with an 80 Euro Valeton GP-5… You are slowly falling behind.

Go for full integration of plugins !

How many plug in do you own?

The sad part is that for plugins that have base models in the QC, there is barely any difference in the first place.

You have my vote on this, maybe one day i would like to have the full integration of plugin but I only own Parallax that i bought and i’m waiting the integration of Rabea before chosing my free plugin. (and eventually knowing for sure if there are some plugin that will never be integrated like maybe the Tone King)

I’d rather have needed improvements (AND not needed) for the Quad Cortex that can do so much better, would be very frustrated if it stay the SEGA Dreamcast of the modeler which it is actually imho.

I am for both. Stop AND continue! All at the same time.

I only own 2 Plugins - Nolly and Rabea, i don’t need any plugins on my QC, some others do and it’s their right to want that to be implemented.
While i don’t need plugins, i still want some cool features of some plugins, like the Synth from Rabea, the Tim Henson Vocoder and some of that special sauce.
But in general i’d say - yeah stop the integration, release frequent updates to the QC for QoL and some effects here and there and it would be fine. Just MY opinion.

Of course this would be the best but it not seems we can have both for the moment.

Only waiting for my free plugin to see how the synth block comes, i really really don’t think it will be an exclusive rabea thing and every QC user will have access to it (especially how it was teased) but i’m waiting just in case. (would be a big mistakes imo if it is)

The original post is absolutely braindead. The QC’s main advertised feature was that it could eventually run the plugins (yes even more so than captures). That was the whole point of it originally, so no they can’t just decide to abandon that lol. Many more people than like two in this thread would be pissed, aside from the consumer protection laws in Europe that are in place to protect consumers from stuff like that happening.

It’s fine the be critical of Neural for promises they have made for the QC, but otherwise a thread being made for this is ridiculous.

Unfortunately the Headrush models sound terrible (yes I’ve tried them). Even YouTubers who cover the Headrush don’t love it. You’d expect them just to praise the thing for ad revenue from Headrush.

If there is a iceberg ahead it’s maybe better to set another course than insisting the the ship was advertised as unsinkable

This feature request is a waste of votes.

This feature request is some true baby shit

So far I haven’t read a good argument against canceling the plugin integration here apart from “but they promised” or “but I want it”. Please try to convince me with real arguments, not with simple “that’s stupid”. If you can’t find any better arguments, think about whether there might be something to my idea after all.

It was one of the main couple selling points of the device lol. Get a guitar with a headstock on it, or spend some time writing music instead of crying about not getting enough random updates to the QC. If you aren’t able to write anything using the device or use it live, then I think you have other issues to deal with first.

You might as well be making a feature request to get streaming apps to load on the QC.

Agreed. Are the plugins amp tones that much a game changer? On a blind A/B compare of plugin vs QC model can anyone really notice much difference? And delaying fixes, updates over this??? Why?

the QC was designed, produced and advertised by a PlugIn company to run their plugins.

Not fulfilling that intent would be abandoning the whole reason it was designed and the premise it was advertised and sold on. It would basically become a “Bait and Switch” scam

100% yes. Soldano SLO-100 X on the QC sounds much more nuanced than the “stock” SLO-100 amp block. Gojira X and Plini X sound amazing as well.

As far as the QC is concerned, the only direction for NDSP to go is to push through and complete PCOM.

I used to have presets based on stock amps or excellent 3rd party captures.
But since Plini and Gojira are on my QC I am using them more and more.
Might be just an illusion but I am very happy with those sounds.
