I have a Mac Mini with my QC. Turns out there’s a fair bit to configure to get the most out of it.
There are no directions about the settings to go through to get setup ideally on a Mac.
For example you need to go into the Audio Midi app and configure the speakers for the QC to be 3 & 4 where it defaults to 1 &:2.
And for example programs like REAPER require special settings to work ideally with the QC, not everyone can afford Logic.
In REAPER you need to specify wet inputs by default on new tracks or you get a totally dry DI signal by default.
The list goes on, I keep discovering ways it can work better that I wish someone was telling new users about. If I were Neural I would plaster this sort of information all over their website. It’s a great feature nobody knows about that you can record both the direct dry signal and signal with effects at the same time, for example.
