Saving preset sometimes overwrites capture too (pics/info)

CorOS Version: 3.3.0

Describe your issue:
When I overwrite/update a saved preset (containing homemade capture), I receive a message giving me the option to overwrite the capture as well.

Steps to reproduce your issue:

  1. Edit update a personal preset that contains homemade capture
  2. Tap the disk icon “overwrite”
  3. Tap the cloud icon to overwrite the cloud save

I expected this to happen:
When I overwrite saved presets locally then to the cloud, I expect this action to have no connection to the capture.

I have tried the following things:

  • N/A

I would prefer for this to not happen at all, but if theres a reason (I can’t think of any), then the option to disable (system settings) would be awesome!

*Note- I understand that partial onus is on me, as this is a known “issue”. Others on forum have discussed the “disappearing” of pics/info associated to this in the past (ongoing with previous Os’s as well). I fell “victim” to this simply because I was updating from 6 setlists going into a main setlist containing 170+ songs impatiently (assembly style).

If you just choose ‘cancel’ at that stage it will still upload the preset but not overwrite and blank out the capture info. I’m not sure why it works that way, but it does.

Totally get it (you were the person who pointed it out to me in the first place). But why even have that. IMO it serves no purpose (ie overwriting capture when saving a preset). It only happened because i was overwriting 30ish songs from 6 different setlists. Caught it most of the time missed it twice. :person_facepalming:

Im just asking that it not even be a choice. After all if one wants to edit/delete/remove capture pics/data then it should be done on the app, not while saving a preset to the cloud. No?
