Sorry if this has been suggested before, but I haven’t found anything.
The idea is to have one or more samples of your recorded guitar so you can work on a preset without having to plug the guitar in again.
This way, we could use QC anywhere and modify presets with just a pair of headphones.
Hello, there are a handful of feature requests that relate to audio file playback and/or saving loops within the QC’s memory. Here are a couple:
Dear QC community,
I want to propose a feature request to play audio files by pressing one of the footswitches. Bear in mind that this is my first feature request here, so if I have format my request in a certain way, then please let me know.
I think there are two ways this could be implemented.
Implementation 1:
One adds a “playback” block somewhere in the signal chain. The settings for this playback block would be: (1) select a file [from a Cortex Cloud directory] and (2) a volume control…
As a newbie here this may have been covered, but coming from Headrush to the QC, however good I think the QC is (it sounds glorious!) there is one thing that makes the Headrush MX5, which costs a 1/4 of the price, stand out is the way you can save and load loops in the looper function.
This makes it an incredible writing tool, as you can literally save any loop you like in the the memory, and export it as a .WAV file to use elsewhere. And the ability to store loops in .WAV format means you have…
In your case the solution here would be to record a dry guitar part with the looper, then place the looper block in front of your [amp / capture / cab / IR / etc.] signal chain.
