Tried updating to CorOS 3.0.0 but the upgrade failed and is stuck on the Plugin Compatibility Update 3/3 screen.
Tried to reset the QC following the recovery procedure of holding down foot switches A and H when the splash screen comes up during booting, but it does not go into recovery mode, just boots back into the failed update page.
Any ideas, is there another hard reset procedure that can get the unit back to pre-update state, then I can try updating agin?
Ensure you have a good wifi signal when updating. It looks like its trying to finish the last phase of the update but possibly lost the wifi connection? If you continue to have issues updating, reach out to support@neuraldsp.com and they will get you sorted quickly.
It seems like I have the exact same issue. Initiated the update to 3.0.0 and got stuck on the Plugin Compatibility Update 3/3. Since then nothing seems to work, neither booting into recovery mode to do a factory reset nor completing the update. Cortex Control also doesn’t seem to work and is stuck on “Loading Preset” if I try to connect. I tried different internet connections, too.
I’m in contact with support, but I feel like they don’t really know what might be the cause because they’re suggesting things that just don’t work because I’m stuck in that screen (like a cloud backup, prepare a hardware report or a factory reset).
I hit “Send Report” a dozen times but they can’t seem to find the logs. It’s getting pretty frustrating at this point.
