I’m really impressed with the update. The ability to have multiple settings for global EQ, and each of the two main inputs is really helpful.

Also, I think I was one of two people in the feature requests to ask for ring modulator, so it’s very surprising, in a great way, because the effect sounds really really good, and I’ll be returning the JHS 3 Series ring modulator I currently have in effects loop 2 to the store, I’m still paying for it. I’ll either at my Big Muff or JOYO British Sound overdrive in its place. Maybe both at different times as suits my mood.

Lots of really good basic stuff in this update, I’m glad Neural DSP are keeping their eye on the ball.

+1. Pleasantly surprised, seems like they’ve added a ton of stuff people have been asking for on the forum. This line in Dev Update #59 also has me excited:

Now our development weight will shift towards the parts of the platform every Quad Cortex owner has access to, independent of plugin ownership: free virtual devices, quality of life changes, and widely requested updates on key areas such as MIDI, Neural Capture, and more.

Could it be? Real MIDI support? On the QC? If they get that right I’ll be 100% married to this ecosystem.
