If you haven’t yet, send that video and description of your issue to Support@neuraldsp.com

this forum is for user help/troubleshooting, but in your case that particular issue is almost always hardware beginning to fail- you’ll probably need to send it in for repair.

Done and hardware sent! I hope they can solve it

Yeah, I basically had this issue and they had to replace the whole unit

How much it costs? I am just asking the support right now.

I sent it to Thomann; it’s less than three years old and still under warranty.

No clue. Mine has a warranty. Some people have said it can be a few hundred dollars

Thanks guys, unfortunately mine is out of the warranty period.

Maybe I should send the unit and pay around USD300 (without tax).:smiling_face_with_tear:

It’s just a guess. Honestly support will be able to give you something more accurate once they look at it

I sent the unit afterwards, then they replaced the I/O circuit board and now the unit works well.

It was good for me that they fixed the QC in a domestic workshop, takes about 2 weeks and a really “small” amount of money.

Thanks for the members here, the issue was the I/O board.

How much was the repair?

After some conversations, they treated my unit as within the warranty period.

I am not 100% sure but the older hardware variant (pre 2025) seem to have more issues than late 2024 and 2025 models (ESS or cirrus logic DAC variants). It might be because the units are just older, however, anecdotally, I feel like owners had more issues “earlier on” (i.e., within 12 months) with the earlier models.

The build of the circuit boards and connectors are quite different. Wonder if that has something to do with it (assuming my theory is correct).

I guess what did you mean by the “small” amount of money in the previous post? Sort of confused by that haha
