Questions about Knobs and Delays

Hey Y’all,

I’m about to click Buy on a Quad Cortex, but I wanted to ask a couple slightly unrelated questions…

  1. a) The Delays/reverbs are known to take the most DSP cycles… Theoretically, how many Simple stereo delays could i fit on one lane? I guess I’m looking to have about 5-8 delays going in a patch Idea I have.
    b) Do the stereo delays use twice the DSP cycles as the mono ones?

  2. I’m not 100% sure I understand the scenes/stomp modes; What i’m looking for is a “mode” where I can assign controls from inside the blocks to the various A-H knobs.

Example: Say the preset has 4 Delays, I would like to assign the feedback control of each to Knobs A-D, and then the Time control of each to E-H, and have control over all the delays from one “mode” (screen?) without toggling between all of the delays to pull up all of thier controls.

Hope that’s clear, If there is a video or section in the manual with this info, i would be greatful for a link or page number!
